Privacy policy

Cellar (c3llar.cloud) is a personal coffee log: one person's notes on the coffees they buy and brew, shared publicly to read. This page says what information the site handles and why. It is run by the owner of c3llar.cloud, who can be reached at kwanzoop@gmail.com.

If you only read the site

You can read the Inventory, Log and Recipes without an account. Cellar does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party cookies, and it does not build a profile of you.

If you sign in

Signing in is meant for the site's owner, who edits the log. If you choose "Sign in with Google" anyway, Google shares your Google account's basic profile with the site (your email address, name and profile picture), and Google Firebase Authentication keeps a record of your account (that information, a user ID, and when you signed in). Accounts other than the owner's can only read, the same as without signing in; nothing else is stored about them. To have your sign-in record deleted, email the address above.

What the log contains

The coffee log itself (coffees, brews, recipes, ratings and notes) is the owner's own content, stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and the Realtime Database). Part of it is public by design: the coffees on the shelf, the brew log and the recipes. Private parts (such as prices, purchase notes and settings) are shown only to the owner.

Coffee lookups

When the owner asks Cellar to look a coffee up online, the coffee's name, roaster, the details already known and the owner's photo of the bag are sent to Anthropic's Claude (through a small computer the owner runs at home) so it can search the web for the rest. No information about visitors is involved. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

Sharing and selling

Cellar does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share it except with the services named above, which run the site.

Children

Cellar is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can read the site without signing in. If you signed in and want your record removed, or have any question about this policy, email kwanzoop@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (for example, to access or delete your information); the same address handles those requests.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
